While completing the rigorous curriculum and four-year clinical training program at ACTCM, Karen also participated in a two year internship in the private practice of her mentor who specializes in fertility and breast cancer.

Karen became interested in Chinese Medicine while addressing her own injuries having been an active dancer and athlete. She noticed a decrease in pain and overall increase in her health and welling. Now through her education, experience and compassionate nature, Karen connects directly with her patients and their needs. After graduating in 2001, Karen returned to her home town of Santa Monica to share her knowledge and work within her community for better health and quality of life. She runs a general medicine practice with an emphasis on women’s health, fertility and pregnancy, injuries and chronic pain.

"I enjoy helping people and with acupuncture I am able to see results right away which is gratifying."   - Karen Adams, LAc
